Dentist in London found a way through which teeth could be artificially whitened. This process was later names as tooth whitening technique. Today there are a numerous products for teeth whitening which can be classified on the basis of comfort, ease to use, effectiveness and type of color. Among these numerous kits, the bleaching system is the most commonly used and most effective system. It is comfortable and most easy to use. Though it is costly but it yields the best results. The shape of the patients tooth is taken in the dentist’s lab. After that, a mouthpiece is made which corresponds to the patient’s teeth and is filled with a gel which contains the chemical to whiten the teeth. The mouth piece is very less sensitive to the gums so that there no harm to them. This mouthpiece is fitted to the teeth for a fixed duration of time. The time can vary from a few minutes to a couple of hours. It depends upon the strength of the stain on the teeth that how much time is taken for cleaning. Stronger stains generally take more time. Effects from this process can be seen on the spot and with a very high effectiveness.
